About the Abstract

All manuscripts must include a Resumo (in Portuguese) and an Abstract (in English). The maximum length for both is 250 words. Keywords (Palavras-chave and Keywords) should range between a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 terms. The abstract text should be written in Times New Roman, size 9 font.

The abstract must be concise and factual. It should briefly outline the research objective, key results, and main conclusions. Since the abstract is often presented separately from the full article, it should be self-contained.

References should be avoided in the abstract, but if absolutely necessary, include the author's name(s) and year(s). Additionally, non-standard or uncommon abbreviations should be avoided. If essential, they must be defined upon first use within the abstract itself.
