About Figures
All figures must be numbered with Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, ...), and each figure must include a caption in both Portuguese and English.
All photographs, diagrams, charts, and graphs should be referred to as figures. Figures must be of high quality; otherwise, they will not be accepted.
Figures should be embedded within the text and not provided separately. Labeling and symbols must be clearly defined in the caption or as part of the figure's legend.
Figures should be referenced before their appearance in the manuscript. Ensure that the image quality is at 300 DPI resolution, as this will facilitate a better output.
The figure number and caption should be typed below the illustration in Times New Roman 10, either centered or justified, and must be provided in both Portuguese and English.
If a series of separate images is presented, all referencing the same figure, it is recommended to combine them using image editing software to save space. The source should be cited after the figure's description.
Ensure that each illustration has a caption. A caption should include a brief title (not within the figure itself) and a description of the illustration. Keep the text within the illustrations to a minimum, but explain all symbols and abbreviations used.
