Objective Standards in Review
Reviews must be conducted objectively. Reviewers should be aware of any personal biases they may have and take them into account when reviewing an article. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Reviewers should express their opinions clearly and support them with reasoned arguments.
Reviewers must consult the Editor before agreeing to review an article if they have potential conflicts of interest arising from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions associated with the articles.
