Latent Modifications in the Journal's Structure

As requested by international indexing organizations, the layout and structure of the Revista Brasileira de Meio Ambiente have been modified to make the processes and responsibilities of the Publisher, Editors, Reviewers, Authors, and Readers more transparent and clear.

It is important to note that the section on Ethical Research Practices (Research Ethics Committee) has been significantly expanded. The Revista Brasileira de Meio Ambiente emphasizes the importance of addressing ethical considerations in Methodology (or methodological procedures) and not merely presenting a code indicating the project or article's acceptance by an ethics committee.

The presentations and elaboration of the models and processes related to these ethical guidelines have been reworked to provide international researchers the opportunity to be included and to submit their studies to the journal using translated versions.

The use of images within the site’s structure has been reduced. The remaining images have been translated into at least English. Throughout this year, we aim to provide translations into both English and Spanish. It is worth emphasizing that researchers from countries where Portuguese is the native language (such as Portugal) are also encouraged to participate.
