Mandatory Inclusion of Abstract in Spanish (Resumen)

With the aim of increasing participation from Latin American countries in both reading and submitting research to the journal, it has been decided to make the inclusion of an abstract in Spanish mandatory.

The abstract in Spanish was previously optional for authors in the Revista Brasileira de Meio Ambiente. However, from now on, in addition to the English abstract, authors will also be required to translate the title and abstract into Spanish.

This change will become evident in the upcoming volumes of the journal, particularly starting next year. Alongside the optional graphical abstracts, RVBMA continues to provide high-quality and informative content in its publications.
