Types of Articles

The Revista Brasileira de Meio Ambiente is dedicated to publishing research that employs Environmental Sciences and related fields to address human problems with a spatial dimension.

These problems may involve the assessment, management, and allocation of physical and/or human resources worldwide. The underlying logic of the journal is that only through a clear understanding of the associated natural social, physical, and human systems can such problems be resolved.

Articles are invited on any topic involving the application of Environmental and Geographic Sciences as a core focus. This may include articles on the techniques, challenges, and results of environmental and/or social research, as well as those related to the principles, policies, and consequences of resource management and allocation.

Only original articles and reviews with well-established methodologies in Environmental Sciences and related fields are accepted by the RVBMA. Scientific notes, narrative reviews, or reviews lacking deep methodologies, experience reports, songs, poems, and opinions are not accepted.
