Special Issues
Publication in Special Issues (Call for Papers)
As an author, you may have the opportunity to contribute to a special issue at some point in your career. A special issue focuses on a specific research area that has broad appeal and aligns with the objectives and scope of the journal. A special issue also offers an excellent opportunity to review a particular topic, explore previously unaddressed aspects, propose and develop new approaches, exchange perspectives, and stimulate new research lines. Special issues may also be commissioned or proposed to recognize the contributions of a specific individual or group to the field or to commemorate a specific date or event.
ACTIVE SPECIAL ISSUES (CALL FOR PAPERS)
Currently, there is no active call for papers in Special Issue editions in the Revista Brasileira de Meio Ambiente. If you wish to submit your research, click here to submit and refer to the Author Guidelines if needed.

In Brazil:
To encourage research in regions with difficulties in data collection, particularly in remote or less accessible areas in Brazil, the Revista Brasileira de Meio Ambiente will give special attention to research conducted in the Northeast, North, and Central-West regions, especially in more rural territories.
In Other Countries:
For other regions worldwide, research from countries classified by the World Bank as low-income or lower-middle-income economies (as of July 2018) with a Gross National Income (GNI) of less than $200 billion USD in 2017 will receive priority in the evaluation process.
