The interior of the state of Goiás still houses remnants of the Cerrado biome whose flora is little known. This study aimed to inventory lycophytes, monilophytes and phanerogamic flora of the Morro do Macaco Environmental Protection Area, located in the municipality of Iporá, western Goiás region and raise the economic importance of these species. Sampling was carried out during the years 2015 to 2021, following the usual methodology for collection, herbalization and identification for each group. 107 species were identified, 102 of which were phanerogamous, four monilophytes and one lycophyte. There were 13 endemic species and two species threatened with extinction: Handroanthus impetiginosus (Mart. ex DC.) Mattos – in the almost threatened category (NT); and Bowdichia virgilioides Kunth – in the vulnerable category (VU). Fabaceae and Asteraceae were the most representative families. The majority of inventoried species (71%) have economic potential, with emphasis on medicinal, ornamental, timber and food uses. The floristic similarity of this remnant with other fragments of the Cerrado is low, which reinforces its protection.
